On August 26, 1987 the last car produced at Norwood was completed.   A red 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z.      This car was awarded to a long time plant employee as the winner of a raffle held at the plant.

A tribute to Dan Edwards:   Dan Worked at GMAD/CPC Norwood and is significant to the ongoing Norwood Research since Dan  was one of many employees behind the camera recording history.   Dan followed the last car down the line-taking photographs and video and documenting the last few weeks of production, and most  importantly is still the original owner of the car he helped build for himself--a stunning Blue 1985 Camaro Z28/IROCZ-with L-69 engine.
